- Derek and I have currently taken on a huge project of renovating our new home. We bought the house in July of last year and it was originally built in 1983 (it's my age) Needless to say a lot of work needed to be done to bring it up to standards and we find ourselves busy each weekend doing projects. This year we will be celebrating our 7th anniversary. Time really does fly by when you're having fun, although I can only speak for myself. All I know is that Derek warmly accepts new recipes that I try without spitting them back out. We adore dogs and currently have 2. They are really funny and enjoy riding with us to Starbucks on the weekends. Living in Arizona was a challenge at first as we found a lot of the comforts of home hard to come by. We have since created our own home and really enjoy living here.
