Bummed out!

So, as you know, we went to Colorado this weekend...while the trip served other purposes, we missed the whole reason we came back. My brother's flights home from Iraq were cancelled and delayed many times over and he didn't make it home in time to see us. Totally un-cool. We are still working on a plan to see him, whether we make a second trip or twist his arm to come to AZ. It really sucks, but we did get to enjoy some family time and beautiful weather while there.

Coming to Colorado!

Yay is mostly what I have to say to this. We are coming home for a few days. My brother, Matthew will be on a mid-tour leave from Iraq and we are going back to visit for a few days. Hopefully this time we'll be able to see some snow. I am really missing that part of Colorado and when we were at home for Christmas, not a flake! So, it's that time of year when I find myself scrambling for all of the March birthday gifts. Everyone is gowing up so dang fast! My niece, Ellery will be 5 and it seems like just yesterday I watched her enter this world. She is defiant just like her Aunt Jenni, but to my knowledge hasn't run away from home just yet. Watch out Julie and Curt.
Brianna is turning 3! Sweet Brianna, she is so full of wisdom at such a young age. Her mission is to keep the peace. She will be a wonderful older sister to the little one as they keep getting older.
Trevor is turning 8. This is the one that I have a really hard time believing. When Derek and I started dating he was just a 6 month old tot! He's the sweet older brother to Kyle and Hailee and is excited to be baptised later this month.
